Joseph Nordlinger, President and Chief Executive Officer
Joseph Nordlinger joined The Ascent Services Group (ASG) in 2003 as the Director of Sales. Mr. Nordlinger began serving as ASG’s President and CEO in 2006 and oversees the strategic direction of the Company. Mr. Nordlinger’s strategic oversight and vision built and drove the Sales and Marketing organization, and the current corporate organizational infrastructure. He has also brought market and customer focuses to the business, much as he has in previous organizations he has built and grown. Prior to The Ascent Services Group, Mr. Nordlinger was a business development manager for Cap Gemini-Ernst & Young and holds his Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economics from the University of California at San Diego.
W. Todd Peterson, Chief Financial Officer
Todd Peterson joined The Ascent Services Group in January 2006 as the highest financial officer within the Company. He oversees all of ASG’s finance, accounting, human resources, legal, contracts and information technology functions. Mr. Peterson has over 20 years as a finance professional in the financial and professional services industries. During his career, he has raised over $20.0 billion in debt and equity capital and built several finance and administrative organizations. Prior to joining The Ascent Services Group, Mr. Peterson worked for AlphaSoft Services Corporation, Ernst & Young and predecessor institutions to JP Morgan Chase. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
Michelle Miller, Vice President of Sales and Delivery
Michelle Miller joined The Ascent Services Group in 2006, successfully building the Pharmascent team, expanding the clinical development functional areas of our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients. In 2007, Ms. Miller became the National Sales Director for ASG, leading the Sales Executives in identifying, securing and managing clients that fit the ASG portfolio. In 2009, she became the Vice President of Sales and Delivery. Prior to The Ascent Services Group, Ms. Miller worked for Management Alliance Group (MAGIC), leading business development and account management teams for over fifteen years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of South Florida.
Jim Jhanda, Vice President of Talent
Jim Jhanda joined The Ascent Services Group in 2003 as a Senior Recruiter and was quickly promoted to a management role. From 2004 to 2009 Mr. Jhanda served as Recruiting Manager, National Recruiting Director and Vice President of Recruiting where he built, architected, and managed a national recruiting team that produced record placements for our clients. In 2010, Mr. Jhanda became Vice President of Talent, where he focuses on recruitment strategy, candidate acquisition, and new business development to enable the highest levels of professional recruiting standards and client services are met. Prior to The Ascent Services Group, Mr. Jhanda worked with a large IT recruiting firm specializing in the Technology Services, and named as a President’s Club member every year with the firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and has a master's degree in Public Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University.
Mark Johnson, VP of Strategic Consulting Services
Mark Johnson joined The Ascent Services Group (ASG) in 2009 and oversees the company’s Strategic Consulting Services, with focus areas of IT Transformation and Management Consulting, Strategic Project Delivery, Executive Management Bridge Staffing, and more. Prior to joining The Ascent Services Group, he served as VP – Strategy & Client Solutions at Taos, a Silicon Valley IT consultancy. Before that Mr. Johnson was head of Worldwide Infrastructure Services for both VERITAS Software and Symantec Corporation. Mr. Johnson has a distinguished career that features over 30 years in Information Technology including seven years as Chairman and CEO of InER-G Solutions Ltd., a Denver-based IT Management consulting firm. He holds an Associates Degree in Applied Business – Management Information Systems from Michael J. Owens Technical College.
