We are very happy to have you on board. You have joined a group of over 1,000 ASG consultants a year who are leaders in their respective fields. You will interact with staff dedicated to supporting not only your current position, but also your career. At ASG, we have spent considerable time, energy, and resources to get consultant care right.
We understand that working with an agency can be a leap of faith if you are new to consulting. We value and respect our partnership with you and we will work to make your experience professional, efficient and fun. Seasoned consultants will find our engagement and payment process is clear and concise and integrates easily into your billing and payment expectations.
We have an established track record of making the process extremely smooth for you to work with ASG, and we take additional steps to make your experience one that more closely connects you to ASG.
Every consultant completes a new hire orientation. In the orientation we cover The Ascent Services Group employee handbook and the client’s NDA and temporary staffing guidelines (including expense policies and timesheet processes). We perform Day One and 30 day performance evaluations to ensure terms are understood and upheld. Our service delivery process ensures a feedback loop is completed for the consultant and the client manager.
The ASG Intranet is your source to download forms including timecards, employee handbooks, medical and dental information, expense reports and other useful information. Your Service Delivery Manager will provide you with your login details when you start. To access the Intranet, click here.
Networking and Events
Our ASG Consultant Community is not just about working together — we also like to get together for extra-curricular activities. ASG's Community Service program, "Help is Here", brings together both ASG Employees and Consultants for a good cause while helping those in need in the areas we do business.
Ending an Assignment
ASG has many systems in place to address the end of an assignment. Many times, we can work with clients to extend a contract. In other cases, the client will ask us to hire on our consultants directly. While many consulting companies forbid their consultants from being hired directly by their client, ASG embraces our consultants’ career paths and interests with our Contract-to-Acquire program. If the contract does not extend, ASG can help our consultants locate another position within our client network. ASG is industry-specific, which allows us to re-utilize and retain our proven consultants. For example, we have teams of recruiters that are focused on the financial, biotech and healthcare industries.
